tunnels as wingless nymphs, climb up bushes and trees, metamorphose into large
flies, start making a lot of noise to scare the opposite sex into submission,
flying around with the elegance of WWI airplanes,
bumping into objects and people and dying en mass.
This lasts for about 6 weeks. |
